Chalkie White is a pure entertainer, driven by his love of music he has been touring and performing across Australia for the past 20 years. From the age of 9 when he first picked up a guitar, White has been honing his craft. At the age of 16 it was time to join a band, and by 18 talent quests were a staple for Chalkie. Winning the Gympie Muster Talent Search in 2001 and cracking the Toyota Star Maker grand final at Tamworth in 2002 were early career highlights that helped prove his credentials on a bigger stage.

The year 2016 brought a new bout of life challenges for White when he was diagnosed with cancer and made many important life decisions, one of which was to release his debut single 'New Day' and to start getting some new music out there.

2017 saw this rounded and travelled Country Music artist release ‘New Day’ which hit the #4 spot on the iTunes Country Singles charts     which opened the gate for the second single 'Gingerbread Man' which has found White his first and second #1 radio chart successes consecutively on 'Australian Country Radio' and 'My Country Australia' and other top 5 chart successes across the country, Once again overshadowed by the release of his debut album 'My Song Isn't Written Yet' Which debuted at #2 on the iTunes Country Album chart and also taking the #1 position on the prestigious ARIA Australian Country Album Chart, #4 ARIA Country Album, #15 ARIA Australian Album, the #4 position on the AIR 100% Independent Albums Chart and #7 on the AIR Independent Label Chart, cementing Chalkie yet again as a serious artist on the Australian music scene.

The third single pulled from the album 'My Song Isn't Written Yet' is due for release in mid 2018
